Your finger size naturally fluctuates throughout the day and across seasons. Fingers tend to swell more during warm summer weather compared to colder winter months. When measuring for ring sizing, pick a time when your fingers feel their usual, comfortable size.If your knuckle is noticeably wider than the spot where you plan to wear your ring, select a measurement that sits evenly between the two dimensions.

We recommend storing every piece separately inside its original Binrays storage box or soft pouch. This prevents surface abrasion caused by jewellery rubbing against one another. Proper storage also shields metal surfaces from prolonged direct sunlight exposure.

You may clean your jewellery using lukewarm water combined with mild, detergent-free soap, or a dedicated jewellery cleaning set. We suggest visiting a professional jeweller for an annual thorough service to extend your piece’s lifespan.Items with stone settings should always be inspected and cleaned by trained professionals. Binrays creates jewellery using responsibly sourced precious metals, including recycled 925 sterling silver and recycled 9k gold.

925 sterling silver is a relatively soft precious metal. Chunky silver designs are more prone to bumps and knocks that can create small indentations and surface scratches. Over time, these marks blend naturally into the surface, softening defined edges. Minor scratches and dents are not manufacturing defects; they are considered natural signs of regular wear.

All silver pieces receive anti-tarnish treatment. Our 925 sterling silver jewellery is plated with rhodium to create a durable surface layer. Even so, silver may slowly oxidise over time. To slow this process, gently wipe your jewellery with a soft cloth after each wear to remove skin oils and surface dirt. Silver polishing cloths and compounds can be purchased from professional jewellers.

Our gold-plated pieces feature a 1 micron layer of 9k gold plating. Plating will gradually wear away with regular use. A professional jeweller can carry out re-plating services. Since we utilise a custom developed gold finish, re-plating completed by external craftspeople may result in slight colour differences.

Do not apply excessive force when opening or closing clasps. Familiarise yourself with how each clasp operates before attempting to unlatch it. Avoid forcibly bending or pulling chains and bracelets, as this can lead to permanent deformation or breakage.

Untangle chains fully before storage. Always keep chains and bracelets placed within soft pouches to prevent twisting, bending and accidental damage.

Natural gemstones feature unique internal patterns and individual characteristics. Stones also vary in hardness, yet every gem remains vulnerable to chipping or cracking upon impact against hard surfaces.Never stretch, bend or reshape set jewellery. Rings and ear cuffs set with gemstones must not be forced out of shape; warped settings raise the risk of stones becoming loose or falling out.Full band rings encircled with stones require gentle handling at all times.

Based on how frequently you wear your jewellery, we recommend annual professional checks for all stone-set pieces — especially designs holding multiple gems. These inspections confirm settings remain secure and undamaged from daily wear.Any cleaning work on stone settings must be completed by a qualified jeweller; improper cleaning methods can easily harm delicate gemstones.

No nickel is incorporated within the metal alloys used for all Binrays jewellery. Skin irritation while wearing piercings can occasionally still occur, as every metal alloy consists of a mixture of metallic elements.

If you wear multiple earrings in a single ear, bear in mind constant contact between pieces may accelerate plating wear and create scratches.

Take care not to use force when operating earring locking mechanisms. The post passing through your piercing is delicate and prone to bending, and clasps will slowly wear with repeated use.
